A Bit About Me
In 1988 I started obedience dog training and competing with my first Golden Retriever. Soon after I became interested in showing and I attended Ring Craft training and became an instructor. I also studied to be a dog training instructor and later a behaviourist.

I am a kennel club GC judge and I am on the committee of North Herts Dog training club where I have taught 100's of dogs of all breeds to become well behaved, obedient and happy pets.

I began gundog training with my Golden Retrievers 20 years ago, where I learnt all about shoot days, beating and picking up. I have since trained six of my Goldens to pick up on local shoots and more recently my energetic young Cocker Spaniel.

I recently joined Riverlily Working Dogs and enjoy teaching dogs and owners to become a partnership and to work together. During the summer months I compete in dog obedience tests and gundog working tests and during the winter I pick up on a number of shoots.

My top training tip: Train the basics and build a bond of trust and understanding between you and your dog and you will enjoy a lifetime of happiness and fun together.
