Sherman  -

Sherman is one bold, confident, driven and good looking traditional style Labrador.

He was the biggest and strongest puppy in the litter from day one and has matured into a strong and brave, yet loving and loyal Labrador who loves to work, hunt, retrieve and play at top speed.

​

He has drive and style in abundance and thunders out and back on every retrieve. Teaching steadiness was an interesting process that took some time with Sherman!

​

He has found his place in the Riverlily Team as my main picking up dog. Season after season he is a major player who will take runners and hunt tirelessly for game after the drives are over. He will keep hunting any cover on any terrain for as long as it takes to find the birds.

​

Now he is older we may start entering Working Tests again as I can now trust him to be sat where he should be for long enough!! 

​Interestingly enough he is steady on shoot days!

​There will only ever be one Sherman and I love him and his zest for life unconditionally.
